Nice catch of dolphin for Murray and Joan on their second day of fishing.
The winds came down nicely and I was able to get Murray and Joan out to about 400 feet of water where we found a weed line. We trolled the lin, throwing chunks and pitching live baits when we saw evidence of dolphin.
The pair put a nice catch together of dolphin in the 8- to 15-pound class, a skipjack tuna and some bonito that went into our shark bait freezer.
We’ve had a nice run of late season dolphin, which should continue until we have a major cold front.
