Great day of fishing for three great friends!
Ted Sander, from Cooper City FL, Ted Duma, from Miramar FL, and Jim Roff, from Fair Oaks Ranch TX, enjoyed a day of fishing in the Florida Keys during their Thanksgiving getaway.
The guys were interested in catching lots of good-eating fish, so I took advantage of the good conditions and headed offshore in search of the late season dolphin that have been hanging around.
We trolled some weed lines and put 18 good size dolphin in the boat. They averaged 8 to 10 pounds, with the largest at 15 pounds.
We then went in to the reef to try for yellowtail snapper, but found no current. So, I switched gears and we dropped for mutton snapper, adding two to the dolphin in the fish box.
