Dinner & a show for family from Michigan

Marathon Florida Keys Fishing Report, Capt. Chris Johnson, SeaSquared Charters, February 2, 2011

Nathan Hull and his family escaped the winter doldrums in Michigan to return to fish with SeaSquared Charters again.

They wanted some good eating fish and some good fighting fish.  So I took them out for dinner and a show.

We first hit the patch reefs and the crew caught a nice mess of delicious snapper, porgy and hogfish.  With the cooler full of fine table fare, we switched course and headed for the shark hunting grounds.  They hooked and released blacktip and nurse sharks, including a monster 8-foot nurse that Nathan gallantly battled.

The Hull family includes Nathan and Shannan and their sons Levi, Nekoda and Caleb.  They enjoyed their feast cooked at Porky’s Bayside in Marathon.

It’s all about the kids on SeaSquared Charters family outings.  Here’s a great picture of Nathan lending a hand to one of his sons.
